Restaurant chain Artcaffé recently opened its 34th and 35th locations in Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD) and is planning two more. One of its recent openings is a “flagship” location in Westminster House, overlooking Kenyatta Avenue. As well as providing “a full-service casual dining experience,” this outlet includes a bakery, coffee shop and cocktail bar.

SoFresh Neighbourhood Market, a Lagos-based chain that is hybrid of a quickservice restaurant and a fruit and vegetable shop, recently opened its eighth outlet.
